Marielle and Valerie

Valerie : initiated at the age of 10 years to contemporary dance and jazz, she continues to explore opportunities body work since tai chi to mime through aikido, mohynyatam (dance of southern India) and the Body Weather Laboratory, Min Tanaka (Japanese choreographer). Anglicist, she devoted her thesis to the body and movement in the speech act.

In 2001, she began training in yoga and discover the tango. She then devoted himself ardently through numerous group classes and individuals, regular attendance at balls and a trip to Argentina. Based on his other skills, she has been teaching for 4 years in developing a pedagogy focused body work, the apprehension of space and ownership of the "mechanical" movements.

Marielle : having dedicated, among other things, martial arts (ju-jitsu, karate) and couple dances (living room, Caribbean, rock. ..), she begins to dance the tango in 1996.

These different experiences, and many tango-trips abroad in 1998, enabled him to examine various teaching methods it uses in its teaching.

music for her being one of the main characters the ball, she began musicalisation (DJ) parties and tango festivals in 2000. This knowledge of music, she shares it in his teaching (see the detailed route below).

Marielle and Valerie working together since 2006. They regularly invite other dancers to work with them to share their approach to tango, but also other practices (see article on the detailed route of Marielle).
