I joined Lawrence H. (SCA) on the solid above the source of Agly to make a foray into the hole in the break. After major work of unblocking, it was almost 20 years since the FCC had not returned. The purpose of our trip is to review the background and continue to build on the work.
The cavity opens in the middle of a ravine and a small jump, we take up in a gallery wider than tall. In the next downstream, it quickly agrees to a lower. From there, squeezes enchainent and fill the boots!
We finally get to a narrowing where the alluvial flood accumulated and prevents the passage. We begin unblocking a forced and after a few strokes of hammer and straws, here I am it takes me the wrong idea of trying to force the lock (you have to say that the air flow makes you want to go further) . It passes by rubbing a little but ultimately to better m'encastrer upside down in the flap that followed. Playing up with the help of Lawrence, I finally managed to pass the obstacle. Lawrence continuously expanding so quickly that I visit a higher open top of a small fireplace. Finally, Lawrence also tried to overcome the restriction, but his chest seems to have the volume over time and we decide to turn around.
We come out for a bite but the rain that falls on the massive forces us to take our meals underground. And after careful consideration, we conclude that the best solution is to target higher upon entry for quick access to the deep zone, especially since there appears to be only three feet to open. We will also fire before leaving. Once passage is open, a generator with a jackhammer would allow us calibrate the result back to the explosives in good sconditions.
must still note that in view of the site and the air stream, this cave is the royal road to the underground Agly. Any takers ....
